A. IIGJ Jaipur offers; Degree, Diploma and short durational professional programs in design, computer aided Design (CAD), manufacturing, gemology and Gemstone cutting.
Degree programs are affiliated with Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RISU). Diploma and Short durational programs certificates are awarded by IIGJ Jaipur.

Q. What is the minimum eligibility criterion for the admissions at IIGJ Jaipur?

A. 12th pass is the minimum eligibility for the admission.

Q. What are the timings of the Institute?

A. Institutes timings – 9:30am to 5:00pm.

Q. How many days the classes are held in a week?

A. Classes are held from Monday to Friday 5 days in a week and 6 Hours of classroom sessions in a day.

Q. What is the procedure to register in a program?

A. Students are assisted with online and offline counseling, thereafter Online application form is filed by students to initiate the admission process.

Q. What are the documents required to register in a program?

A. Documents required to can take admission in any of the courses:

• Photocopy of Aadhar Card (self-attested)
• 2 passport size photographs

Q. Are there any entrance examination and what kind of test will be taken in the entrance test?

There are three levels of Examination:

General Ability Test (GAT) – Measures ability believed to underlie skill in handling all types of intellectual tasks.

Design Ability Test (DAT) – Measures students” understanding of the criteria for good experimental design through their open-ended response to a prompt grounded in an everyday life science problem.

Interview – After clearing the GAT & DAT, candidate is interviewed by the expert panelist.

After successfully clearing all the levels, candidate is issued with admission offer letter.

Q. Is hostel accommodation available for both boys as well as girls?

A. IIGJ Jaipur has separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Hostel has double, triple, quadruple and dormitory sharing rooms with AC and Non-AC options. Rooms are allotted on first come – first serve basis.

For every students separate bed with storage, bedside table, study table and wardrobe will be provided. Hostel has mess, Indore sports room, TV room, Gymnasium and playground.
The tariffs are as per reasonable market rates, mess charges are additional and mandatory.

Q. Whether study tour is provided, are there any sport facilities & what are the extracurricular activities provided to students?

A. IIGJ Jaipur provides great exposure makes sure that its students are able to take on any kinds of challenges. From organizing skill training workshops, to giving students the opportunity to participate in country-wide festivals and fairs like IIJW, IIJS, JJS, JAS and art fairs. Opportunities are provided to students to participate in GJEPC organized activities. Students also organize Diwali, Holi and other festive occasion with cultural programs.
Apart from these, the students also participate in events like the Sports Day, the Annual Exhibition ‘EXPRESSIONS’, Jewels of Rajasthan, World Skill India and so on.

A. 80% attendance is mandatory for all students enrolled in any programs offered at IIGJ Jaipur.

The Campus is facilitated with Air conditioned Design Studio’s, World class Manufacturing Laboratory for model making, Pre-casting & casting, stone setting with work bench, tool, equipment & machinery. Gemology laboratory, Computer aided Design laboratory with 50 computers, Envision Tec CAM Machine for 3D Printing, Laser Marking & Laser welding facility, Audio visual room, multipurpose hall, Playground, First-aid rooms, Wi-Fi facility and Canteen

A. Institute is located at Sitapura Industrial area and approx. 19 KM from the main city, 10 KM from Jaipur international Airport and 18 KM from Jaipur Railway Station
